Small Grant Program

• Application deadline is the last Thursday of the month in order to be considered at Community Forum the following month.
• Small Grants are awarded up to $500, on a monthly basis.
• Project must be located within city limits and have lasting benefit for city residents.
• Project must be sponsored by a Neighborhood Council Leadership Team or the Community Forum Leadership Team and documented in detail in the minutes of the meeting.  
• Awardees must give recognition to Neighborhood Councils and/or the Community Forum.

Large Grant Program

The application includes new criteria. Please read the grant application carefully to ensure your application meets the requirements.

• Application deadline is October 25, 2018 at 5:00 p.m.
• Grant recipients are awarded up to $3,000 each.
• Large grant projects should enhance the quality of life in our community.
• Project must be located within city limits and have lasting benefit for city residents.

PRE-APPLICATION WORKSHOP

A pre-application workshop will be held in September 2018 @ the Jack Reidy Conference Room, 140 W. Pine St., Missoula, MT 59802. Applicants are strongly advised to attend as the grants are awarded on a competitive basis.    

• Get ideas for projects

• Identify the committee review process and use of funds
• Ask questions about applying for a grant
• Gain technical assistance for grant writing
