City Offices Updated Information

The Garden City Missoula Logo

City Hall - The east entrance at 435 Ryman St. is the only public entrance. Security staff will greet the public and ask basic screening questions for COVID19 symptoms and exposure and weapons. Visitors, other than Court visitors, must have appointments.

Weapons will not be permitted in Municipal Court, Municipal Court offices or the Court public hallway. State law now permits people with concealed weapon permits to carry concealed firearms elsewhere in City buildings. Anyone wishing to carry a concealed weapon in City facilities will need to provide a valid concealed weapon permit for admittance. The weapons must be kept concealed and not touched or handled.

The Ryman Street entrance will also serve as the central check-in for neighboring City downtown satellite buildings across Ryman Street and on West Pine Street. Those buildings will also remain locked, and visitors will be admitted by appointment. To arrange appointments with staff at other City facilities, call the specific department. Visit the City website at https://www.ci.missoula.mt.us for contact information and hours for each department.

Community Planning, Development & Innovation will continue to offer services by phone (click for division hours of availability).  The Zoning Desk, business licensing and permitting are also available virtually and in person by appointment only. Visit the department home page for complete information: https://www.ci.missoula.mt.us/2728/Community-Planning-Development-Innovatio

Parks and Recreation programs are operating at normal capacity. Currents Aquatics Center and Splash Montana are open daily for lap swim, recreation swim and Aquacize. Learn more at www.missoulaparks.org.

The Missoula City Council is meeting in-person and virtually using Zoom Webinar on Monday evenings and virtually only using Zoom Webinar on Wednesday for committee meetings. Drop boxes for payment of utility bills and payments to the Court, as well as to drop off documents for offices, will continue to be available at City Hall and at the Missoula Water office at 1345 W. Broadway.

Parking ticket payment can be made online or at drop boxes located at City Hall and the Missoula Parking Commission Office at 128 W. Main St.  Visit the department homepage for more information: https://www.ci.missoula.mt.us/462/Parking-Commission.
