The City Council is seeking applications for four volunteers to serve on the Design Review Board. The following positions are open:
Four Regular Members
The Design Review Board is enabled by the City Council through Title 20, the Missoula Zoning Ordnance to review and decide on sign packages, building graphics, variances from the NC-B Boulevard Neighborhood Character Overlay, and deviations from certain development standards found in the Landscaping Chapter, Multi-dwelling Building design standards, Townhouse standards, and in the NC-SR Southside Riverfront Neighborhood Character Overlay. All decisions of the Design Review Board may be appealed to the City Council.
Qualifications include being a Missoula County resident and any interest or expertise background such as a historian, graphic artist, architect and landscape professional.
The board meets monthly. The terms begin July 1, 2018 and ends on December 31, 2019.
Applications may be picked up at the City Clerk Office at City Hall, 435 Ryman on second floor.
Applications will be accepted until July 4, 2018 by 5 pm.
