1. Who is responsible for the street trees in front of my house?: The Forestry Division oversees all activities that take place within the right of way. Homeowners are responsible for the maintenance of the land and care of the trees, and may hire an ISA certified arborist to perform tree work. All work requires a permit from the Urban Forestry Division.
