I need a "Slow Children at Play" sign in front of my house. Will the City install one?

These signs are not recognized in the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), which the City must follow when installing any traffic control device. These types of signs are particularly ineffective for solving the conditions usually associated with this request. A better solution in residential neighborhoods is likely neighborhood traffic calming, which is the installation of physical devices that force traffic to drive more slowly in residential areas.
