Energy Conservation & Climate Action in Missoula The City of Missoula has a long history of conservation and climate action-related commitments, planning and work. Applied for and received Department of Energy, Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) funds for local project implementation
City Staff - Energy Conservation Coordinator
The Energy Conservation Coordinator works across all departments to coordinate implementation of the Conservation & Climate Action Plan and integrate concepts into municipal operations, infrastructure and services. Further plan implementation support and progress review come from the CCAP Technical Advisory Team made up of four Mayor appointees and four City Council appointees from the Energy and Climate Team,
In addition, the Energy Conservation Coordinator serves as the City's representative and resource for community outreach, collaboration and engagement on energy conservation, climate action and sustainability efforts.
