Missoula Parks and Recreation offers picnic shelters for reservation in several neighborhood parks. Shelters are available for rent for picnics, reunions, and other events during these time periods:
  • 7 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
  • 11:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
  • 5:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
  • All day
Special use permits and fees are required for special events and for reservations at Fort Missoula Regional Park , McCormick Park,Bess Read Park and Memorial Rose Garden

Dragon Hollow Playground at Caras ParkShelters with access to electricity are provided one standard power outlet per shelter for coffee, warming tray, etc.

A $100 refundable deposit is required to rent a shelter, $200 with alcohol. Learn more about events in parks, including alcohol permits, canopies, amplified music.
